An art degree doesn't come cheap, so I am sure you can imagine just how overjoyed I was when I found out I had been awarded the Bradley Edward Sterling Memorial Scholarship! Generous gifts such as this one take some of the financial burden off of my shoulders and allow me to spend money on things like art supplies and trips to art museums and galleries. It's easy to take scholarships for granted, but the value of this award is not lost on me. The scholarships I have been awarded over the years have given me the opportunity to grow as an artist, and for that I am truly grateful.
